One of the first models of 102” wide buses built in the United States, as 96” was the standard width, these buses were built to be crowd swallowers comparable to the street cars they replaced. Seating 51 people and able to have a large standee capacity, this bus was part of an order of 24 identical buses delivered to the Connecticut Company in April 1954. It was retired in 1978 by the Connecticut Department of transpiration and donated to the museum.
